Comma Designworks was founded with a simple goal: to refocus the services architects provide through the lens of modern technology and construction techniques. Our approach to architecture is built on four principles.

Clients pay for our work. We make it count by keeping costs and timelines low and the output high. It sounds too good to be true, but our formula for efficiency is simple. We hire efficiency-craving personnel, provide them the best technology to maximize return on effort, and establish the expectation of constant communication.

 

2, EVERYONE, DAY ONE,

Comma is dedicated to condensing timelines at the beginning of projects by getting more decision makers involved earlier in the process. We believe that Day 1 is the perfect time to define all constraints, challenges, and opportunities with every stakeholder in the room.  

 

3, DESIGN IT LIKE YOU OWN IT,

We are driven by design. We strive to provide unique answers that solve clients’ problems. We also recognize that for many clients, design is third on the list after cost and schedule. If we can’t produce an elegant and useful solution on budget and in the agreed upon timeline, then it’s no longer a solution.
