Melt Pilates
NASHVILLE, TN
Melt Hot Pilates is Nashville’s newest, and hottest mat Pilates studio. The owner had a vision that was built through the idea of a feeling; fire and ice. These words were used to define and develop the client experience, taking them through a soothing check-in experience upon arrival, and leading them into a heated workout experience like no other. The design team used this vision to turn the 1,942-sf basement into a physical dichotomy between tranquility and intensity.
Entering through the lobby, clients are greeted with a cooling effect though limewash paint, concrete floors, and soft neutral tones. Tile, furniture, and mirrors were carefully selected to curate this experience. Clients are then immersed into the heated studio, wrapped around red walls and rich tile underneath a glowing ambience. The studio reaches 105 degrees, so visitors are truly melting. The warm glowing lighting around the ceiling creates an atmosphere that is intense, energizing, and deeply embodied.
The goal was to balance the concepts and create a one-of-a-kind experience. Walking into the studio and breaking a sweat, and being able to walk out into a grounding space to physically and mentally rejuvenate.

PINKY RING PIZZA
COMPLETED OCTOBER 2022,

Pinky Ring Pizza is a fast-casual pizza and beer concept taking shape in Madison, TN. The design incorporates indoor bar top seating, an open truss ceiling, and large operable roll-up doors, all while meeting the strict Health Department standards for restaurants. A large kitchen is maintained in the 1,050 sf space to allow for efficient operations and fluid movement through the space.
The addition of outdoor patio seating will be provided immediately outside of a to-go pickup window to allow for quick ordering and open seating. Glass roll-up doors are incorporated into the exterior wall, extending the small interior space to the outdoor patio, mingling aroma and activity inside and out.
The concept was founded after the owner acknowledged the lack of quick and easy lunch and dinner options on the Gallatin Pike corridor. The build-out will focus on durability, clean, and bright finishes, and the incorporation of natural wood accents. Incorporating playful paint and tile colors will pay tribute to the owner’s brand and help tie the entirety of the space together.
