The Comma Designworks office is ever-growing, and we're excited to introduce the newest member of our team - Interior Designer Angelina Martens! With Courtney and Ariani already bringing their talents and energy to the space, Angelina adds even more girl power to the mix.

Angelina didn't always know she wanted to be an interior designer - in fact, she once thought she might become a fashion designer or even a hairdresser. However, when it came time to choose a college path, she began exploring different creative fields. Having always loved art - she enjoys drawing and painting in her free time - Angelina discovered interior design as a potential career and chose to purse it at Drexel University.

During her time at Drexel, Angelina had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in her sophomore year. She immersed herself in the rich architectural landscapes of Paris and London, an experience that significantly shaped her perspective and prepared her for her current work in design.

She was also active in the Drexel Interior Design Group, where she took on a leadership role and helped organize events and mixers to strengthen and celebrate the design community.

When asked what she loves most about interior design, Angelina shared, "First and foremost, the creativity. I love being able to put a project together." She especially values the creative freedom that comes with her work and the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives through thoughtful design. "Every project is so different," she says. "I love getting to change people's lives through design."

Outside of work, Angelina is all about soaking up the sun and spending time in nature. She loves hiking, exploring new places, thrifting, checking out local coffee shops, and hanging out with friends. A passionate traveler, she's also made it a tradition to visit Italy once a year for the past three years - and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon!
